Space4Fauna is developing a pest and disease warning and prediction platform for horticulture to help farmers transition to greener, healthier and more efficient farming practices.

Horticulture today is inefficient. Of all crops planted 40% is lost due to insect-pests and diseases. Farmers need support in the decision-making process since being 1 day late in intervention results in up to 3% lower yields and up to 5% less revenue.

This is where Space4Fauna will make a difference through its data-driven and science-based solution.

Space4Fauna is a joint undertaking of Space4Good and Fauna Smart Technologies. By combining the extensive knowledge of Fauna Smart Technologies in horticulture, crop protection and food security together with Space4Good experience on satellite earth observation, geoinformation and platform development, we are able to deliver tailored information to farmers to make the right decisions at the right time.

With our innovative solution we will be able to support farmers to protect the environment while enabling them to feed 10 billion people by 2050 with healthy food.
