On Tuesday, 19th of May 2020, PARSEC Accelerator Open Call 1 winners – #100PARSEC – and SMEs from around Europe and beyond met for pitching and networking at the PARSEC Virtual matchmaking event. We were happy to host more than 50 entrepreneurs and welcome among them external companies from different sectors, who wanted to join the PARSEC ecosystem and were looking for partners to apply for the Open Call 2. The floor was given to the representants of the external SMEs who presented their businesses in the format of a one minute pitch. Then all attendees joined one of the five sectoral roundtables dedicated to food, environment, energy, Earth Observation and technology and interacted with each other to find possible synergies. These potential collaborations identified in the first part were further explored during the follow-up business-to-business meetings constituting the second part of the event which we hosted on the Brella platform.
